Through our peer-led Empowerment Circle, we provide a safe space for mothers to share their stories, connect with others who’ve walked in their shoes, and lead advocacy efforts that fight for the systems their families need to thrive.

We don’t just support mothers—we amplify their voices in the fight to build a more just, humane, and inclusive set of policies that support children and their parents, rather than punish them. MON combines community lawyering, organizing, and mother-led advocacy to transform punitive family interventions into supportive pathways that meet families’ basic needs like food, housing, and health care.
